We determine the type and placement of ads displayed on thehealthexaminer.com. If we deem an ad is inappropriate, we reserve the right to remove that ad from the site, and the advertiser will be promptly notified.

Editorial content is not influenced by ads. We do not endorse any products or services advertised on thehealthexaminer.com. We mandate that all ads be clearly and unambiguously identified.
AD RESTRICTIONS
Ads involving the following content are forbidden:
- Alcohol, firearms, gambling, pornography and related themes, tobacco, marijuana, weight loss products, pharmaceutical drugs, or the simulation of news or an emergency
- Illegal substances and harmful or offensive content (We reserve the right to ascertain whether ads are “harmful” or “offensive.”)
- Discriminatory ads of any kind, including those based on color, age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disabilities, or religion
ADVERTISERS' LEGAL OBLIGATIONS
Advertisers must comply with all laws, both domestic and foreign, and the FDA’s guidelines regarding Direct to Consumer (DTC) advertising. We will not monitor compliance but reserve the right to review whether advertisements are compliant and to remove ads that breach any laws, regulations, or guidelines.
